The Accra collective drops “Gyegye Meso” and “Bo Nsam (Clap)”, solidifying their unique lane in the Ghana music scene.
In recent years, La Même Gang has put an important spotlight on Accra and Ghana, now known as an extremely dynamic creative hub. After their La Même Tape: Linksters album in 2018, the members of the group have each wandered in solo. Darkovibes, for example, has released Kpanlogo and The Cornerstone, while $pacely has dropped Fine$$e Or Be Fine$$ed and Keanu. The collective is now back with two brand new singles that announce a mysterious project called True Colors.
With “Gyegye Meso” and “Bo Nsam (Clap)”, the collective confirms its ability to switch styles and blend different genres. While the former track sounds like a romantic loving Afrobeats song, the latter is a futuristic rap banger on which the different members each lay powerful verses.
